The broad plantar surface of your therapist’s foot is dexterous and intelligent, delivering pressure that is deep, soothing and accurate. Sessions are comprehensive, treating the nervous and muscular systems through the fascial web as an interconnected whole.

Services

At Groundwork Therapy, each session is full-body and customized for you. We'll discuss the techniques used, but we mainly massage using our feet in the Sarga Bodywork discipline. Every session comes with hot towels. Pricing includes gratuity.

  • Welcome! Enjoy your introduction to barefoot bodywork in a compact session.

  • Complete. The favored amount of time to deeply release tension, assess structural imbalances and improvement quality.

  • Focus. In addition to treating the system wholly, 1-2 specific concerns receive additional attention. May include use of manual therapy tools such as cups or fascial scrapers.

  • Comprehensive. Ample time for everything included in a two-hour session along with passive stretching and nervous system down-regulation techniques to ease the body into healing mode.

Meet your therapist

Pailinn Petthong is a licensed massage therapist and one of under 200 Sarga Bodywork specialists. Born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, she has made New Orleans home for over a decade. Her experience in clinical, athletic, and performing arts settings grant a breadth to her work which facilitates a variety of clients and their respective needs. She delights in delivering treatment plans dedicated to opening up freedom of movement. Pailinn’s continued study in structural integration, corrective exercise, myofascial work and buccal/TMJ massage strive to provide current and evidence-based treatment for chronic pain.
